Meet M-22, a British-German production duo who are about to make some serious waves in the deep house world. Matt James and Frank Sanders are two producers, who became friends in 2014 and have been busy creating hit after hit since. The first track to emerge is the anthemic, piano-led vocal track ‘Some Time’, which showcases the duo’s prowess as songwriters, as well as producers. It comes just in time for summer and is destined to become one of the first anthems of the season.
Matt James started his career as a DJ at the age of 14, and within two years he made his club debut, playing alongside the likes of Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo. When word of his productions spread, Ministry of Sound signed him up as a writer/producer and he was responsible for hits by H two O among others. Frank Sanders’ producer career includes credits for the likes of Jason Derulo and Armanda Wilson, as well as a host of huge hits in Germany.
With their track “Some Time”, the duo was celebrating their first chart success in April. "Some Time" reached in the UK Club Charts #6 and was promptly selected by the Sarah Jane Crawford Show (BBC1 Xtra) as "Record Of The Week". Now the duo is presenting their first single "Good To Be Loved", which has been available since May 22th. The single debuted on iTunes in the Top 50 and made it to #5 on the EDM.com charts. Also numerous DJ support the track. Tiësto, Don Diablo and Robin Schulz played the song several times in their radio shows.
M-22 will be back with more anthems as the summer progresses.
